Who we are

We operate six stunning parks across the North West of England, Yorkshire and Scotland, each set in peaceful, rural surroundings that provide the perfect environment for relaxation and escape.

About Us

Dalbeattie Forest Holiday Park is a peaceful retreat set in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway, surrounded by stunning woodland. Offering a tranquil escape, the park is perfect for nature lovers, with direct access to scenic walking trails, cycling routes, and outdoor adventures. Just a short distance from Dalbeattie, it provides easy access to local amenities, charming coastal villages, and breathtaking countryside.

The forest on your doorstep

Dalbeattie Forest is right on the park's doorstep and is one of the famous 7stanes mountain biking centres. Riders of all levels come for the trails, including the well-known Slab for the more adventurous. If you'd rather explore on foot, the gentle walk around Plantain Loch is a favourite with families and dog walkers, and the woods are full of wildlife all year round.

The Solway coast

The Solway coast is only a short drive away, with some of the prettiest seaside villages in Scotland. Kippford and Rockcliffe are linked by a lovely coastal path, and at low tide you can walk out to Rough Island bird reserve. Sandyhills beach is great for a day by the sea, while Southerness has its historic lighthouse and wide sandy shoreline to explore.

Towns and day trips

Dalbeattie itself has shops, cafés and everyday amenities within easy reach. Castle Douglas, known as Galloway's Food Town, is close by, as is Threave Castle on its island in the River Dee. Kirkcudbright, the Artists' Town, is well worth a visit, and for bigger days out, Dumfries, Sweetheart Abbey and the dark skies of Galloway Forest Park are all within easy reach.
